I see blogging as a 5th wall to my classroom. It is a place where we, as a class, can share our learning and showcase the activities/projects we are undertaking with others. The beauty of this 5th wall is that it is open to the world and allows others to contribute to our growth my leaving us comments and helping us connect on a global level.
Let’s examine the journey of one of my previous students, Kevin. What did he have to share on our 5th wall!

Prezi
Prezi is a cloud-based presentation software that opens up a new world between whiteboards and slides. The zoomable canvas makes it fun to explore ideas and the connections between them. The result: visually captivating presentations that lead your audience down a path of discovery.
Here is a link to learn more about making your own Prezi:Learn Prezi
Signing UP for an FREE EDU account is easy and because all ETSB students have their own ped.etsb.qc.ca address, they too can have a FREE EDU account.
The first part of the video below shows you how to register a student. The second part shows you how you can share a Prezi Project with others. This can be a wonderful tool for group work!

Photopeach
The idea is to help you tell better stories online using photos.
With PhotoPeach you can create a rich slideshow in seconds to engage your friends or family. They also support background music, captions, and comments so you can elaborate on your story further.
One of my favourite things about PhotoPeach is that you can make small quizzes with images!
There is a FREE Photopeach account which allows you to upload a maximum of 30 pictures per slideshow. Please click here to compare the various FREE and premium account features.
Below some of my 2011-2012 students explain how to add questions to your PhotoPeach Project. If you enjoy the video please click here to leave them a comment on our class blog!
